Spain captain Iker Casillas says his team is a 'legendary team'.
The captain of La Roja made the declaration during his team's parade on the streets of Madrid.
The keeper said: 'We’re a legendary team. I’m honoured to captain this team of not only amazing footballers, but also amazing people. It’s a pleasure to be here. This is for you and for you to enjoy.'
Spain second goalkeeper Pepe Reina on his part hails coach Vicente Del Bosque for the achievements of the team.
Reina said: 'The driving force behind the team, a patient man, the team’s kindness and wisdom. I think he’s the only coach who has won the World Cup and the European Championship.'
