Former
FC Barcelona player Juliano Belletti has hailed the appointment of Tito
Vilanova as Barcelona first team coach.
Speaking
in Brazil at the presentation of the Fundació FC Barcelona ‘FutbolNet’ project,
Belletti expressed his optimism about the team’s options under new coach Villanova.
He
said: ‘It’s good that someone who knows the team and what’s been happening is in
charge now.
‘It’ll be tough to keep up the
run of titles and although people will make comparisons, the base of the team
is the players and they will still be there which will be a great help for Tito
Vilanova.’
