Di Matteo: We still have a pretty experienced team

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo believes the exit of Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and Jose Bosingwa will not affect his team.

The Blues manager's confidence has been boosted by the signing Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin De Bruyne ahead of the 2012/13 season.

RDM said: 'Having lost those three players we still have a pretty experienced team.

'Look at Petr Cech, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Branislav Ivanovic, Fernando Torres, even David Luiz, John Mikel Obi, they have played a lot of games and we still have an experienced team. But we are monitoring the market and looking at some different things.

'We have a lot of youngsters like Lukaku, Josh McEachran and Ryan Bertrand who did well last season. I'll be looking at them and seeing how they are developing and it's down to them. De Bruyne will be with us in pre-season. Thibaut Courtois will get another season loan. All the others will be here in pre-season with us.

'At the moment we have Fernando, Daniel Sturridge and Romelu Lukaku. Marin is offensive, Hazard is offensive, De Bruyne another, so we are looking to have enough options.

'We have plenty of games and we have a squad, so I will have to make decisions and try to get the right balance in the team for each game.

'I don't think there is going to be an overhaul of the way we approach the games. The new players will be integrated into the team and we have to make sure we get the best out of these players.'
