The striker who scored the second goal in the match against Barcelona believes his side could have scored more goals.
He said: 'I’m very happy, we played an amazing match. We should have won by more because we created many chances; the important thing was to win the match and give our fans something to cheer about, which they deserved. This is the attitude everyone wants and we are the first to know it, not just against Barcelona, but every week in the Liga.
'It was an important match, not just because of the Supercup, but also to beat Barcelona and to feel as though we have regained our level of performance. Last year they won the Supercup and we won the Liga but this doesn’t have much relevance on the season. Modric played well when he came on and I’m sure he’s going to play well.' Aug. 31, 2012.
