Pardew: Terry's retirement is a blow

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew believes the retirement of Chelsea captain John Terry from international football is a huge loss to England.

John Terry who played 78 times for England announced his retirement from international football on Sunday.

Pardew said: 'I just know for the manager of England, it's a blow because he is a great player and the pool isn't great for English players at the moment and the team. That's the tough end for us, but that is a personal decision John has made.'
