Chelsea striker Demba Ba hails
former Blues forward Didier Drogba.
The Senegalese forward said: ‘He has
been an inspiration because when you are young you see someone like him as a
big brother.
'Africa is not like a continent,
Africa is like a country. You see players like him as a big brother, you see
what he does and you think why not, I can do some stuff like this. I just kept
believing in myself and doing what I did until now.
'Didier is so mentally strong as
well. He got to Chelsea at a good time, with a good manager in Jose Mourinho,
who helped him a lot.'
Drogba spent eight years at Stamford
Bridge before moving on to Shanghai Shenhua and subsequently Galatasaray.
