Barcelona forward David
Villa has dismissed speculation of a move to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas
is desperate to sign the Spanish striker to help get the London side into the
Champions League places next season.
Villa, 31, said: ‘I have
a contract with Barca and I’ve always said that I’m very happy here.
‘I always try to think
of the present. I will go to the Confederations Cup and try to play a good role
there.
‘We’ll need to analyse
many things during the summer and then we’ll see.
‘Right now I’m not
thinking about anything else than playing football.’
