C.Ronaldo: It is not money issue
Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed speculations that he wanted more money from Real Madrid.
The Portuguese striker, 27, refused to celebrate either of his goals in Sunday's 3-0 win against Granada and revealed his disquiet to reporters after the match.
The Whites star said: 'I am accused of wanting more money, but one day it will be shown that this is not the case.'
He added that his feeling will not affect his 'motivation, dedication, commitment and desire to win all competitions will not be affected'.
It has been suggested that the Portugal international was annoyed by Real Madrid lack of support in his bid to win the World Player of the Year Award and UEFA Best Player Award.
Real team-mate and former Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa offered his support to the striker.
He said: 'If Cristiano is sad and needs the support of his team-mates, then of course he is going to get it. And if it is the support of the fans, I am sure they will give it.
'In Real Madrid, we are a family. When one member is not as happy as he should be we help him. When things are not right we all help.'
Ronaldo joined Madrid from Manchester Uniterd in 2009 for a world record £80m fee. His 46 La Liga goals last season helped Real win the La Liga trophy.
