The Reds lost 1-2 to Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
Rodgers said: 'I remember last year Arsenal didn't get off to a great start. We are seeing some positive moments. I have got great confidence, the group have been absolutely fantastic. We are all behind it. Very soon our luck will change.
'We are bitterly disappointed with the result, I thought the best team lost. Of what we could control I thought the players and performance level was outstanding.'
