Stramaccioni: We must play Vaslui with utmost respect

Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni believes Vaslui will be difficult to beat at home.

The Nerazzurri coach said: 'I think Vaslui are probably the best-equipped team outside of the seeded sides. This team was put together to play the Champions League qualifying rounds. Their wide players have a lot of quality and are their biggest threat.

'I watched their two games against Fenerbahce and they deserved a bit more out of them. I think even last year they upset an Italian side by knocking out Lazio, and although they have changed a lot of players since then they are still very competitive, so we must approach the game with the utmost commitment and the utmost respect.

'I don’t think defeats can help. What is true is that the difference between the first and second leg has shown us that you can never let your concentration drop at international level. With roughly the same side, Inter had two very different results. We’re putting this down to experience and we certainly don’t want to get things wrong again.'
