Konadu: We will play to our strengths

Ghana U-20 team coach Maxwell Konadu says his side will give their best in their first leg fixture against Morocco in the final-round qualifier for the 2013 African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites play host to their counterparts from Morocco at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday.

The aggregate winner over both legs will qualify for next year's Championship in Algeria

The Black Satellites coach told ghanafa.org
: 'There are so many positives that can be taken from the first leg. Whatever the scoreline, be it one, two, three, four goals, will affect how the second leg goes.

'We are in a good position to play to our strengths. We will have our fans backing us so, we need to push on well. We need to able to create chances and take them as when they come.

'The players have been good in training and we hope they reproduce their form to help us win.
'We know they will want to change the slow down the game and break on the counter. being a typical of North African team, they [Moroccans] are always very disciplined.

'But we have to ensure that the game suits us and not them.'

The Black Satellites progressed in the qualifiers after beating Uganda on a 4-3 aggregate win.

Seven teams will make it from the qualifiers and join hosts, Algeria, in the finals next year.
