Atkinson to officiate City v United

Martin Atkinson has been appointed as referee for City’s game against Manchester United on Sunday 9 December.

Atkinson, 41, was the central referee when United defeated City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium in April 2010.

It has also been confirmed that Mark Clattenburg will be 4th official for the top of the table fixture.
