Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo says his squad will keep to the pattern they used at the 'end of last season'.The Blues played more players in the midfield at the end of last season. The pattern gave the side the Uefa Champions League and English FA Cup.
Di Matteo said: 'This formation is a shape that we used at the end of last season and it has served us well. We are trying two shapes in practice as well to be ready for all eventualities, and it will also depends on the players we will have available.' July 23, 2012.
